YOW! Connected is a technical conference about developing and deploying IoT applications.  The Internet of Things is a pervasive technology which enables unique end-to-end applications in almost every vertical market.  These applications require clever end-to-end systems engineering from the sensors, communications, and server backends as well as data analytics, machine learning and visualization.  YOW! Connected is a technical conference focused on IoT applications with sessions dedicated to specific industry verticals. It is a place for IoT product designers, architects, developers and data engineers to network and learn from others while sharing their experience.

We welcome technical presentation submissions in Agriculture, Healthcare, Utilities, Transportation, Smart Cities, Finance, Retail, Insurance, Energy, Environment, Security, Home and Workplace.  Talks should explain the technical and business challenges for their application as well as the solution. Learning what didn’t work and the dead ends that were encountered is often more valuable than what did.  Talks should assume an intermediate level audience and omit basic introductory material.

In addition, there will be invited expert state of the art & practice talks on IoT Platforms, Communications and Architectures.

YOW! events are vendor and technology agnostic. The YOW! independent program committee is responsible for ensuring that talks represent the best technical submissions selected on merit and not disguised commercial sales pitches. Vendors have the option to submit a 7 minute lighting talk which if selected be delivered in a clearly labeled vendor session.  There will be an exhibit area for sponsors in addition to the solutions sessions.
